I am President and CEO of White’s Pediatrics, with locations in Dalton, Chatsworth, and Calhoun, GA, since 1981. I am currently a member of the teaching faculty at the Augusta University School of Medicine since 2004 and an associate teaching faculty member at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Atlanta campus since 2010. From 2004 to 2015, I was the Principal Investigator and Medical Director of the North Georgia Clinical Research Center in Dalton, GA.
My educational journey began at Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama
(1971–1974), followed by earning a BS in Human Biology in 1977 and a Medical Doctorate in 1978 from Loma Linda School of Medicine, where I also completed my pediatric residency in 1981. I hold a Georgia medical license and am board-certified in pediatrics. My certifications include PALS, NRP, CPR, and advanced clinical research training, such as FDA, ICH, GCP, and CITI standards.
In addition to my professional roles, I actively contribute to my community. I participate in several organizations, including the Georgia Health Information Network, as Chairman of the Board and the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics as Chairman of the Medical Home Taskforce. I also served on the communications committee for the Pediatric Healthcare Improvement Coalition of Georgia (PHIC). In 2024, I received from the GA American Academy of Pediatrics the “Outstanding Achievement Award” and was previously awarded from the State of GA Dept. of Public Health for “Outstanding Pediatrician”. My previous service includes roles at Hamilton Medical Center, the Northwest Georgia Healthcare Partnership, and Wachovia Bank in Dalton, GA.
On a personal note, I am a proud father to Jeffeory Jr. and Christopher, father-in-law to April, and grandfather to Jeff III, Sophia, Marcus, and Ava. I am an avid golfer and, along with my wife, competed in the Golf Channel “Amateur Golf Tour”. We were honored to qualify for Nationals annually during our participation. In addition to weekly games with friends, I have also developed a keen interest in earth science, particularly studying the effects of the flood through local geological formations. On beautiful days, I love to hike to these rock formations and marvel at the workmanship of God. I am an avid audiophile with a passion for high-fidelity sound reproduction. In my man cave, I’ve created a quiet listening room with excellent acoustics and high-end equipment, where I strive to recreate the rich, authentic sound of live performances on recorded mediums, mainly vinyl records.
My greatest passion is sharing God’s word. I am very busy serving the Dalton SDA Church as Head Elder and Chairman of the Church Board. I lead four weekly Bible study groups with church members, colleagues, and community acquaintances. It has been a privilege to baptize two members from my study groups. Jesus is the
Lord of my life, and I dedicate myself to spreading His truth and serving others.
